The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) program's goal is to provide excellent care to people with ILD and develop better treatments for the future. ILD can be complex to diagnose and treat. We believe that a patient-centered approach with experts in ILD, including pulmonary, rheumatology, and radiology physicians, is central to excellent care.

Research Overview
We strongly believe there will be significant improvements in our ability to better diagnose and treat interstitial lung disease in the coming years. The best way to accelerate this process is through basic and clinical science research. At the BMC ILD Clinic, you can contribute to this work. Our physicians are leading innovative studies to understand how pulmonary fibrosis begins and developing therapies to prevent or reverse lung disease.
