Brigid C. Dwyer, MD, is a board-certified neurologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where she specializes in brain injury and neurorehabilitation, and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
Dr. Dwyer completed her undergraduate studies in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained her medical degree at Warren Alpert ... Medical School of Brown University. She pursued clinical training in neurology at Boston University, followed by a Veterans Affairs (VA) Boston Healthcare System joint fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine and Neurorehabilitation.
Dr. Dwyer directs the Vascular Brain Injury Program at Boston University's post-acute care affiliate, Encompass Braintree, and is a member of the Encompass Braintree Medical Executive Committee. She is also a member of the ACRM Disorders of Consciousness Task Force, the AAN Neural Repair and Rehabilitation section, and the ACRM Cognitive Rehabilitation Task Force.
