Surgery Residency Program

The surgery residency program is a five-year program that provides early hands-on experience, with residents performing operations from the start of their intern year. Residents have broad exposure to a wide range of surgical subspecialties, including thoracic surgery, at multiple sites throughout Boston. We aim to provide residents with the range and depth of surgical experience and academic exposure required to develop superior surgical skills and an ability to make informed, independent judgments.
